OVARIAN CYSTS
Ovarian Cysts, like cysts in other areas of the body, are sacs containing fluid. Ovarian cysts form either on or inside an ovary. Such cysts can be diagnosed as benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous), and can affect fertility, pregnancy, and overall health. Non-cancerous or cancerous cysts should be taken care of via surgery whether or not a woman plans on becoming pregnant, as they can lead to additional, often serious, health problems.
